Symphony includes the following contract vehicle links GSA = ALLIANT 3 ASTRO OASIS OASIS PLUS POLARIS DHA = HEC MQS-NG OMNIBUS (Legacy) MQS |
To register for Symphony as a business user follow these steps. (An instructional video is also available at the bottom of the page).
1. Click Register Now
Register for Symphony using the correct link (See Figure 1) for the contract vehicle (listed above) after accepting the Official Use message, and set up a preferred method of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) - that is discussed in Step 4 Configure the Account.
Anyone seeking to become a Symphony user must enter their email address. An email can only be linked to one company. Symphony sends an email to validate that an email address is correct. Users need the validation code from this email to continue. The code is only valid for a single use. Additionally,

3. Register for the Organization
Enter the SAM.gov UEI for the Prime Entity seeking the contract award or holding the contract.
- Include the CAGE code if multiple codes are assigned to the UEI.
- Do not enter the UEI of a CTA Contractor, Subcontractor, or JV Member.
If the information displayed is correct, choose YES to proceed. Note: Pay close attention to the CAGE code retrieved from SAM to ensure registration for the right company. Contact us for incorrect registrations (See Making Registration Changes).
4. Configure the Account
Create an individual user Account and Password.
Users may press cancel at this time to discontinue their registration.
For Multi-Factor Authentication, use any time-based Authenticator Application.
Choose an Authenticator Application or text messages.
Email is not an option. Users with international (non-US) phone numbers must use an authenticator app (See Smartphone Apps for MFA or MFA Browser Extensions). |
Use an Authenticator app to scan the QR code, not a phone's camera.
Entering the code from a MFA tool validates this step. (This is a six-digit code with no spaces).
If users cannot finish this step, contact us.
A confirmation page acknowledges successful registration (See Figure 3).

5. Request Activation
Symphony displays SAM POC(s) on the confirmation page when users successfully register before an "Active" SAM POC (See Figure 4).
Once registration is completed, contact us with the SAM UEI and a copy of the POC details from SAM.gov so that we can verify access and activate the account. All others seeking access to the platform must request it from their organization’s Symphony administrator. There is no auto-activation. See Understanding the SAM Connection to find the administrator list at SAM.gov. Use the Contact link to request that a SAM POC register and sign in to the same Symphony website with the same UEI and CAGE code. Ask them to update the initial status to active in the Administration link once they have Administrator Access.
