Contract holders and offerors use the Business Registration articles.
Step 1. Start Registering
To access Symphony, use the REGISTER NOW link on the sign in page (See Figure 1).
- Direct registration links are available at the top of the page.
- For government registration, an email address must end in .gov or .mil.

Step 2. Enter an Email Address
Symphony sends an email to verify the email address.
- If an email is not received in a few minutes, check the spam folder.
- To enter an email again, use the cancel button.
Step 3. Enter the Validation Code
Copy the validation code from the email and enter it in the browser to continue.
- Try again if an email is not received.
- Any additional spaces in the temporary code will cause an error.

Step 4. Acknowledge the Checklist
Understand the Multi-Factor Authentication requirement.
Step 5. Select a Role
Symphony will display up to four options regarding the use of Symphony. The choices can be:
- I work for a Government Ordering Activity.
I want to place orders against Symphony-managed Contract Vehicles. - I work for the program Office of a contracting vehicle.
- I work for an assisted acquisition office.
- I am participating as a Proposal Evaluator.
Step 6. Enter the Contracting Office Code
Enter the FPDS-NG code for the Contracting Office and then select LOOKUP ORGANIZATION.
Step 7. Confirm the Organization
Using the YES button confirms that the information displayed is correct and there is authorization to access Symphony for an organization. NO will return to the previous step.
Step 8. Configure the Account and Password
Usernames are an email address. A first and last name identify the account owner and a password that meets the requirements must be added to the account. Using cancel at this time will cancel the registration.
Step 9. Configure the Multi-Factor Authentication Method
Symphony requires Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) when registering and every sign in. Any time-based Authenticator Application or SMS delivery of the six-digit code will work for Multi-Factor Authentication. The MFA code validates this step (See Figure 3).

Users with international phone numbers must use an authenticator app (See Smartphone Apps for MFA or MFA Browser Extensions).
- Contact us for an MFA reset if this step is not completed.
Step 10. Registration is Complete
A confirmation page displays after successful registration. Returning to the main page for Symphony allows sign in.
