Using Reports for Contract Management

Symphony reports cover various areas of interest for government users. 


Users can analyze:

  1. The number and types of orders being placed. 
  2. Who is placing orders. 
  3. The order status.


New for ASTRO

Task Order Awards: covers data previously tracked in Appendix C (see Figure 1).

  • The data is refreshed nightly and historical data can be provided outside the system.

The Contract Performance reports provide the total number of contracts and unique organizations on a contract vehicle. With this report, users can analyze activity, responsiveness, and the success of each organization. It includes information on active or dormant contracts, the number of available opportunities, types of responses, and the total number and value of awards. The Contract Performance reports can also confirm the minimum guarantee requirement.


The Contract reports provide the total number of contracts and unique organizations on a contract vehicle. These reports track contract status, socioeconomic designations, and contract areas (pools/domains). Users can also retrieve general business or Contract Manager and Program Manager information for communications or analysis.



User reports provide the total number of government or industry users. The reports can be used to analyze who is registered, what their account status is, and what government or industry organization an account is linked to.

 




These reports provide the total number of government or industry organizations and additional identifying information.





This report can be used to track companies, their contracts, systems, certifications, clearances, and other business factors that they hold. It can be used to analyze the quality of the contract holders and perform market research.

 



Reports in this section help users with Contract Vehicle Management tasks such as:

  • CSAs (Contractor Self Assessments)
  • Mass Modifications


 

Using the Reports Interface

Each report can be sorted, and filtered by each column heading, and users can customize the data by clicking to the right of a column heading to access additional actions (see Figure 2). The column widths can be manually adjusted to view any data that is not displayed on the screen. The actions are listed below.

1. The three horizontal lines provide options to:

  • Pin the Column
  • Auto size the column(s)
  • Reset the changes


2. The filter icon provides options to search or select one or more data elements for the column.


3. The three vertical lines provide options to search or select which column headers to include or exclude.

  • Once filters are applied, users can save the report to use again or reset the changes.
  • Reports can also be exported to Excel or CSV files (see Figure 3).

Symphony Performer Reports 


Report NameFull Description

Orders

Columns include the tracking number, type (Task Order or Market Research), title, department, agency, AAC, contract vehicle, area, contact information (name, email, and phone), release date, Q&A deadline, proposal deadline, and status.

Task Order AwardsColumns include the Ordering Contracting Officer contact information, agency, pool, contract number, contractor, solicitation number, task order number, project title, award date, period of performance (including options), predominant contract type, initial amount, total estimated value, primary NAICS, PSC, type of service, CONUS/OCONUS, anticipated award date, description, place of performance, fair opportunity information, offers received, scope review utilization, LCATs data, and additional feedback. 

Contract Performance

Columns include contract activation status, company name (listed as organization everywhere else), distribution email address, contract number, contract vehicle, open opportunities, total opportunities, responsive and unresponsive totals, bids and no bids, awards, award value, and if the minimum guarantee is met.

Contract

Columns include contract number, email, contract status, organization name, UEI, CAGE, DUNS, and address information.

Government Users

Columns include the first and last name, account status, email address, phone number, department name, agency name, contracting office, and office code.

Industry Users

Columns include the first and last name, account status, email address, phone number, company name, UEI, and CAGE code.

Government Organizations

Columns include department, agency, office, and contracting office code.

Industry Organizations

Columns include the company name, UEI, CAGE code, DUNS, website address, and address information.

Company Qualifications

Columns include the company name, contract number, UEI, CAGE, contract vehicle, and business factor claim. Business Factors are the Adequate Accounting System, Approved Rates, CMMI Maturity level, Cybersecurity and Supply Chain Risk Management (C-SCRM) questionnaire, Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Estimating System, Financial Resources, Facility Clearance, Government Property Management System, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 21508, ISO 22301, ISO/IEC 27001:2013 or 2022, ISO 28001:2007, ISO 9001:2015, Teaming Agreements, Professional Employee Compensation Plan, Uncompensated Overtime Policy, Representations and Certifications, Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS), Purchasing System, Subcontracting Plans, NSF/ANSI 391.1 certification, Greenhouse Gas Disclosures (Scope 1 or 2 (or 3)), Organization changes, FED Ramp/Agency ATO, and Cost/Price files.

CSA Reports

The Contractor Self-Assessment (CSA) Reports show the total open and attested CSAs. Users will select the contract vehicle and Reporting Period, and then they can view the Organization name, Status, attested person, and time.

Mass Mod Overview

This report shows the number of Mass Modifications for a Contract Vehicle. The columns include the status, modification number, issuing agency name, address, and code, description of the modification, and number of signatures received compared to what was requested. Use the actions column and icon to view the Mass Modification Detail report.

Mass Modification Detail

This report shows the total number of contractors who received a modification and how many are pending signatures. The columns include the contract vehicle, modification number, organization name, UEI, CAGE code, contract number, signature date, and status.
