Follow these instructions to delete projects from Company Assets in Symphony.
1. Start in the Submission
Users must remove the project from a submission before it can be deleted. A withdrawn project can be kept as an asset but not used in a proposal.
- Select the Projects tab in the submission to check a proposal (see Figure 1).
- The name of the solicitation is in the top left corner.
- Click the red icon by a project to withdraw the project if it is on the list.
- Acknowledging the dialog box confirms the action.

A project cannot be deleted if it was used in a submitted proposal. The Archive function will hide the project from view.
2. Return to My Company
Go to Projects/Past Performance in the My Company link (see Figure 2) and select the project to delete. The name of the company is in the top left corner.
- Users can only delete a project that is not part of a proposal.
- Symphony will let users know if it finds the project in a proposal and where it is being used.
- The messages are a guide for proposals in progress.

3. Delete the Project
Once the deletion is complete, users can add a project to Symphony again.
