1. Go to Inquiry Management

Start on the Solicitations tab on your dashboard and use the Inquiry Management button.

2. Answer Questions

You can use Inquiry management to create, answer, review, reject, route, and publish questions to Industry. Follow the left menu from top to bottom to complete the inquiry process. The main steps are the following.
  1. Answer open questions.
  2. Review drafts and mark for release.
  3. Confirm questions are ready for release.
  4. Release questions and answers.

Create a Question

Create questions that need to be answered. In the Question entry field, you will enter a reference term as applicable, and then you can enter your question. As you complete each question, Save and Add to place the inquiry in the Unsubmitted Questions list. You can also edit or clear your work as needed. Submit for review.  The question will be added to the Open Questions screen after you submit.
Open QuestionsOpen questions have not been answered. All questions submitted will be displayed here.
You can filter questions by any of the text in the fields or by tags that have been created by your team. 
Click on a question to choose your response, enter or add a tag, use a previously answered question, or enter your answer. Save your work. 
Draft QuestionsDraft questions have been answered but have not been released for approval. You can direct other users to focus on certain tags after they have been categorized and generate a draft for offline review.  When you need to edit an answer, click on a question to enter your final response, create or add a new tag, or use a previously answered but editable question. Save your work when complete. When you are ready to have the Q&A reviewed, click "Generate Draft" and then download the file.  You can then edit the questions again after you receive the feedback.  Use the select box to mark questions as Ready for Release after you have finalized the answers. 
Ready for ReleaseOne more option for review.  These questions have been answered and are ready to be released. Click on a question if more changes are needed or use the select box to mark questions for release and Release the responses.
Released QuestionsThese questions have been answered and released. Use the Download button to retrieve a PDF or CSV file for review.   The PDF has been formatted for you to use as your final Q&A release format.  They can be answered in batches and the new answers will be appended to the file whenever you release them.  In Performer, the file is placed in the Documents tab.  In Audition, you will need to release them to SAM.  Organizations that have asked questions will see the answers to their questions in their view in Symphony after you click Release.
Rejected QuestionsThese questions have been rejected.
Helpdesk QuestionsThese questions have automatically been sent to the Symphony help desk.
