Before You Start

  • Prerequisite Access: The ASTRO management workspace is available only to prime contractors holding an active awarded ASTRO contract record.

  • Subcontracting & Teaming Opportunities: For companies seeking subcontracting partnerships, view active pool contract holders and contact details directly on the GSA AAS ASTRO Website.

  • Administrative Responsibility: Contract Holders must ensure all company users self-register, maintain active account statuses, and hold appropriate administrative roles for submission authority.

Steps

1. Manage User Access & Accounts

Symphony Administrators manage employee onboarding and deactivations.

  1. User Registration: New employees must self-register following the account registration process. See the Register Your Symphony Business Account guide.

  2. Account Activation: Navigate to Administration, search for the user, and change their account status from Initial to Active.

  3. Role Assignment: Assign Administrator or Program Manager permissions to team members requiring contract management or submission authority.

  4. User Deactivation: When an employee leaves your organization, locate their account under Administration and change their status to Delete to revoke system access.

Critical Account Warning: Changing a user's account status to Delete in the Administration menu permanently prevents that specific email address from re-registering under your company's entity directory.

If an employee simply needs to update their email address or profile details, refer to Update Your Symphony Account Details: Individual Account Settings, MFA Setup, and Email Updates.
