Address Change Modifications

A Program Official (PO) will understand Address Change modifications in Symphony after reading this guide. 



After signing in to Symphony, a PO for a contract vehicle will have access to Contract Management in either the Contracts or Contract Tasks tabs from the Dashboard (see Contract Management for Operations).


Using the Contracts Path: A PO initiating an Address Change will follow these steps: 

  1. Go to the Contracts tab.
      
  2. Find the Contract Holder.
      
  3. Use the Contract link.
      
  4. Select Contract Modifications on the left menu.
      
  5. Start a Contract Modification.
      
  6. Select the Address Change button (see Figure 1)
    • Symphony will check SAM.gov for an Address Change and display the Existing and New Address. 
        
  7. Verify the address and select continue.
      
  8. Use the Confirm Modification button on the Summary page.
      
  9. Acknowledge or cancel the Submission.
    • The Modification Status will change to Requested
      Industry will see the Modification in their Contract Tasks tab.
        
  10. Select the Modification to enter a contract modification number and date.
      
  11. Use the Generate Preview button to trigger the Continuation field in an SF-30 and edit the field as needed.
      
  12. Approve or Reject the Modification. 
    • Approving will change the Modification Status to Approved
      Industry will see the Modification in their Contract Tasks tab.

        
    • Rejecting will change the status to Rejected
      Industry will see the modification in their Contract Modifications section.
      (See Contract Management Activities for Industry). 
        
  13. Select the Modification to sign the file or reject the modification. 
    • Symphony requires an MFA code to sign the file (see Figure 2)
    • It will be available using the same method as sign-in.

Using the Contract Tasks Path: A PO responding to an Address Change request will follow these steps: 

  1. Go to the Contract Tasks tab.
      
  2. Find a Contract Holder requesting a Change of Address. 
    • The row should be orange to grab the users attention.
        
  3. Click the row.
      
  4. View the Contract Modification Summary.
      
  5. Scroll down the page and enter updates as needed.
      
  6. Click Generate Preview.
      
  7. Scroll up to download or delete the file.
      
  8. Approve or Reject the Modification.
      
  9. The Contract Holder must then Sign the File to complete the modification.
