Please note that if you have previously registered in Symphony for a different contract vehicle, 

you need to register as if it's the first time for this instance of Symphony.  

Each Symphony URL requires a new registration.

How to use an Authenticator App during Registration

You may review the following video or read the Step by Step Instructions to successfully use your phone for Multi-factor Authentication in Symphony.

Please download an Authenticator App from iTunes or Google Play on your mobile phone. 

We recommend Google Authenticator. It is free, easy to use, and supports multiple accounts. 


Once installed, follow these steps:
  1. Open the app
  2. Choose scan QR code
  3. Scan the QR code during registration.
  4. Verify the account name
  5. Enter the code
  6. Click Authenticate

If you have multiple Symphony accounts, be sure to rename the codes to reflect the contract vehicle for the One-Time Passcode (OTP). You must have a unique code for each Symphony URL you access.

How to get Text Messages for MFA

If you want to receive text messages from Symphony, follow these steps when you register. 

  1. Select the SMS option. 
  2. Enter your wireless carrier.
  3. Enter your wireless number. 
  4. Enter the six-digit code received via text in the field provided.
  5. Click Authenticate 


If a text message takes more than 5 minutes to arrive, it will be expired. Sometimes disabling wi-fi helps speed up the delivery of the code. Contact us for more information, and we can help you change your MFA method.


How to use an Authenticator App after Registration

If you are already registered, please contact us, and we will send you a QR code. Please download an Authenticator App from iTunes or Google Play on your mobile phone. We recommend Google Authenticator. It is free, easy to use, and supports multiple accounts. 


Once installed, follow these steps:
  1. Open the app
  2. Choose scan QR code 
  3. Scan the QR code we provide
  4. Verify the account name
  5. Go to the related Symphony URL
  6. Enter your credentials
  7. Click Sign In
  8. Return to your app on your mobile phone
  9. Enter the code from the appropriate account
  10. Click Authenticate
